Our promise

Open Call does not share your personal information. The only things we share with brands, agencies or casting partners are your headshots and the details relevant to a prospective role (such as market, look, age range, height, general location and skills), identified by your stage name and Open Call ID. We never share your real name, email, phone number, address, date of birth or any other personal details with brands or outside parties. We don't sell your information. If you're booked, any contact happens through Open Call, and your contact details go to a client only with your express permission for that specific booking.

We never mass-send, blast or sell your photos or details to lists of companies. Every submission is reviewed individually by a person. Your headshots and role details are shared only in response to a specific casting request your profile fits, and only with that client.

If you separately opt in to our talent directory, vetted brands and agencies we've approved may also browse your stage name, ID, headshots and role details there. That's off unless you tick the box, and you can turn it off any time.

What we collect

The details, photos and any optional video you submit on our form (including your date of birth, to confirm you're 18+, and any optional self-ID information), plus a one-way hash of your IP address for spam protection and rate limiting.

How we use it

Only to review you for casting and placement, and to put you forward for specific opportunities as described above.

Optional video and additional photos

A video clip (link or upload) and additional photos are optional. They're handled exactly like your headshots: used only for casting review, stored securely with access limited to our team, shared only as described above, and deleted after 12 months if you're not selected or any time you ask.

Sensitive, optional information

Sex/gender and ethnicity/heritage are optional, self-reported and never required to submit. We use them only as role-relevant casting criteria when a brief specifies a look or casting requirement, and never share them together with your identity. You can ask us to delete them at any time.

Date of birth

Used only to confirm you're 18 or older. Brands and agencies see an age range at most, never your date of birth.

Talent directory (optional)

Only talent who opt in and whom our team approves appear in our private directory for vetted brands and agencies. It shows headshots, role-relevant details, stage name and Open Call ID only. You can opt out at any time.

Service providers and the law

Limited service providers (such as Cloudflare, which hosts this site and its database) process data only to run the site. We may disclose information if required by law.

Storage, retention and deletion

Submissions are stored securely with access limited to our team. If you're not selected, we delete your submission after 12 months. You can ask us to delete it at any time using the removal request option on the submit page.

Adults only

We accept submissions only from people 18 or older. Under-18 submissions are deleted.
